The contemporary dance piece Sleeping Beauty Dreams makes its New York premiere at the Beacon Theatre December 14 and 15 before kicking off a national tour, and it looks absolutely stunning. Through motion-tracking sensors integrated in dancers' costume to capture movements, larger-than-life digital avatars will dance side by side with American Ballet Theatre’s Diana Vishneva (Princess Aurora) and Marcelo Gomes (The Prince). It promises to be a truly unique stage experience, and a must-see for dance and tech fans alike. Get a first look at the show in the teaser above.
