Feel like you need to up your Broadway history game a bit? In the new online video series It’s The Day Of The Show Y’all, Spencer Glass provides an introduction to lesser known Broadway musicals, offers some interesting trivia, and then concludes with a song from each show wonderfully performed by Spencer. These are the shows that you probably know the title, and maybe who starred in the original, but not much else beyond that. Well, Spencer is here to fix that. The series is released monthly, with each Broadway gem coinciding with the month it opened on Broadway (previous examples include Dear World in February, Sweet Smell of Success in March, Carnival in April
). In the video above (co-created with Waitress’ Dan Tracy), get a first look at Spencer’s May edition spotlighting the Tony Award-winning Kander & Ebb musical Kiss of the Spider Woman. Subscribe to his YouTube channel to keep up with the complete series as it rolls out.Skip to main content
