Broadway audiences can relive highlights from Hal Prince's 21-time Tony Award-winning career in the new MTC musical revue Prince of Broadway
. Prince was behind so many of Broadway's most iconic musicals from geniuses like Sondheim, Lloyd Webber, and Kander & Ebb. Using the March Madness model (yay sports !), we seeded 32 of the 33 Broadway musicals Hal produced or directed. (We said ciao to A Doll's Life which only ran three performances in 1982.)Now we want to hear from you! Let your voice be heard "A New Argentina" or "The Name's LaGuardia" style, grab a torch, belt your face off, and vote.
Logistics
- Vote on all 32 shows in the 16 one-on-one match ups through Monday, August 28.
- Vote on the Sweet 16 as they face each other in eight pairs through Wednesday, August 30.
- Things get real as you vote for the Elite Eight in four head-to-head match ups through September 1.
- Final four faces off over Labor Day (voting ends September 5).
