Some colossal news from across the pond! This coming September, Jack Maple and Brian Zeilinger for Take Two Theatricals are producing Tonight At The London Coliseum, a special benefit concert series direct from London's West End. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be benefitting the English National Opera Contingency Fund with the mission "English National Opera exists for everyone, creating new experiences with opera that inspires, nurtures creativity and makes a difference."
Included in this exciting concert series are Broadway's Les Misérables & Anastasia vet Ramin Karimloo and forthcoming star and Olivier award winner for Caroline, or Change, Sharon D. Clarke. This series will also highlight some of West End's famous faces of the musical theatre, Kerry Ellis (Wicked, We Will Rock You), Carrie Hope Fletcher (Heathers: The Musical, Les Misérables) Cassidy Janson (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, & Juliet) and duo Sharon Sexton & Rob Fowler (Bat Out of Hell).
What an exciting roster of talent! We're totally looking forward to this upcoming series. Ahead of September, let's all enjoy six videos of these upcoming concert series stars!
Sharon D. Clarke sings "Lover Man" (Blues in the Night)
Kerry Ellis sings "Memory" (Cats)
