Just as Irish as corned beef and just as delicious as Guinness, the Tony-winning musical Once is tapping into its Irish roots all week in honor of St. Paddy’s Day. Of course, it helps that the show is set in an Irish pub and deals with the complex love affair between an Irish guy and a Czech girl.
From March 11 through March 16, audiences at the Jacobs Theatre will get a special Irish treat from the acclaimed cast. During Once’s pre-show concerts, the company will perform a special selection of traditional Irish songs. (This means you want to get there early to hear them!)
