MTC’s production of Lillian Hellman’s The Little Foxes is the hit revival of the season with six Tony nominations, seven Drama Desk nominations, three Drama League Award noms, and two Outer Critics wins. The co-headliners (Oscar nominee Laura Linney and Tony Winner Cynthia Nixon) each received Tony nominations for their work on the show.
But the thing that makes this revival so exciting is not all its accolades but the fact that these incredible women are switching roles every other performance. Each plays the calculating and cutthroat Regina and each plays the broken, beaten-down heiress Birdie.
So the question flying around theatre circles is always, "Did you see Little Foxes yet, and which combo should I see?" The answer is see both; but if you’re only seeing one, the videos below are sure to help you make up your mind. They are the same scenes with the ladies trading off roles.

Whoever you see just make sure to see The Little Foxes at Broadway’s Friedman Theatre through July 2.
