Introducing Moulin Rouge!'s new Sparkling Diamond - the musical's dazzling Satine - Natalie Mendoza!

Natalie will appear opposite Aaron Tveit's Christian this fall when the musical returns to Broadway replacing Karen Olivo who has departed the production. Moulin Rouge! marks Natalie's return to Broadway after making her Broadway debut in Spider-Man as Arachne during the musical's preview period in 2010.

Let's discover more about the musical theatre career of Broadway's newest Sparkling Diamond!

"Because She Can-Can-Can"'ed!

This will be Natalie's return to Broadway AND Montmartre! Natalie appeared in the original Baz Luhrmann film as one of Zidler's showstopping can-can dancers "China Doll."

Prior to the Moulin Rouge! film, Natalie appeared as Liat opposite Harry Connick, Jr.'s Lieutenant Cable in the 2001 television adaptation of Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific starring Glenn Close.

"On My Own"

She's a former Eponine! In the late 1990's, Natalie donned the iconic trenchcoat and cap with the Australasian 10th anniversary touring production of Les Misérables.

"Opposites Attract"

Natalie stepped into Imelda Marcos' heels in The National Theatre's 2014 production of the David Byrne/Fat Boy Slim musical Here Lies Love.

"The Myth Of Arachne"

Natalie appeared as the original Arachne in the Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark in 2010 but exited the production following an injury during the preview period.

"The Movie In My Mind"

In the recent Olivier Award nominated West End revival of Miss Saigon, Natalie appeared as Gigi singing the musical's legendary first act tune.

"With You"

We found a diamond of a clip! Here's a video of Natalie performing Molly's heartwrenching ballad during the musical's 2010 London workshop.
