Anthony Rapp has brought his The New York Times best-selling 2006 memoir Without You to Off-Broadway's New World Stages following runs of the musical in cities across the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.
The deeply personal musical honors two huge forces in his life, his mother and Rent's Pulitzer Prize winning creator, Jonathan Larson. The story of Anthony's life in the mid-1990's has a soundtrack comprised of R.E.M. tunes, original music and memorable hits from the historic Larson musical including the title song, "La Vie Bohème," "Seasons of Love" and more.
A fun event happening every so often at the musical's curtain call has been surprise friends of Anthony joining him for an impromptu performance! Audiences never know who might stop by on any given showtime.
