In the current Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Tom Stoppard's Tony-winning play The Real Thing, music plays such an important part that it might as well be billed right under Josh Hamilton. You see even though it's a play, director Sam Gold's production is filled with music: you hear records, they talk of music and the actors sing and play instruments. It's a welcomed addition, especially when you consider how intertwined music is in our memories of love, passion and particular relationships.
