We have made it no secret that we are longtime fans of Jai'Len Christine-Li Josey since her triumphant star-making moment in the musical SpongeBob SquarePants as Pearl. She stopped by the studio during her run to perform three gorgeous musical theatre tunes in our Broadway Bucket List video series.
Last night, Jai'Len released her debut six track EP "Illustrations". Besides her effortlessly phenomenal vocals, she is supported by tracks infused with a variety of instruments from delicious brass and to incredible guitar riffs. The vocal layering too!
Audiences will get to enjoy so many different styles on this EP! There's a delightful old-school groove to "When We Jump" and an awesome 90's R&B feel to some of the tunes like "She Got It" and "You Ain't Gotta Worry."
