James Monroe Iglehart (who won a Tony Award for originating the role of the Genie in Aladdin) currently stars as the fabulous, flashy, fan-favorites Marquis de Lafayette & Thomas Jefferson in the blockbuster musical Hamilton
. But on Monday night at MCC Theater's annual Miscast Gala, James took the stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom as everyone's other favorite Hamilton scene stealer, Angelica Schuyler. Watch as James SLAYS Angelica's Act One showstopper, "Satisfied" with co-stars Lexi Lawson and Javier Muñoz. It is epic! James is serving acting and vocals (come through 5:20!), and we seriously can't get enough.
