Maria Friedman's Olivier Award-winning revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along at long last arrives in America at Boston's Huntington Theatre Company through October 15. Original London stars Mark Umbers and Damian Humbley transfer with the production as Franklin and Charlie, respectively, with Broadway's own Eden Espinosa as their new Mary Flynn. In this exclusive clip, we get a sneak peek at Eden and the company performing the musical's Act One closer "Now You Know". Then we have discuss three moments that nearly killed me: the pure joy as the pinky comes together for the "who's like us" moment, the vocals on "over here, hello" at 1:47, and that whole three act play she does as he boards the ship ending with her shouting "I love you, Frank".
If you can get to Boston, don't miss Merrily We Roll Along at the Huntington through October 15.
