Tony Award winner and true Broadway legend Carol Channing passed away at age 97. She made her Broadway debut in 1941 and became synonymous with her performances as Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello, Dolly! (a role she played for decades the world over) and Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and its sequel Lorelei.
