What was your first impression of your Hot Mess co-star:
Lucy:
So friendly, charming, handsome and tattoos!!
Max:
She was chill AF & funny.
What day do you feel like your chemistry clicked in rehearsal:
Lucy:
We clicked from the very beginning! On day two, Max moved his chair next to mine so we sat side by side and we started doodling on each other's scripts like stunted teenagers...I thought, "Oh ya, we're both doofuses. This'll work".
Max:
I feel like it clicked whenever we did the very first table read. She had some moments that made me think, “OK SHE IS HERE TO PLAY!!” which is perfect.
What does he/she do that makes you laugh most:
Lucy:
Talking gibberish usually gets me.
Max:
When Lucy says the line, “RUN ‘EM DOWN!” in the show. :) or when we are just being silly.
What stand-up comedy special can make you laugh every single time:
Lucy:
Tiffany Haddish!
Max:
Any Sarah Silverman or early Ellen.
What’s the worst thing you could learn about someone after six months of dating:
Lucy:
Hmmm...that they are a murderer? Yikes.
Max:
That they are a liar.
When’s the last time someone described you as a hot mess:
Lucy:
Yesterday. I lost my keys. Then I realized they were in my bag the whole time.
Max:
I have NEVER been described as SUCH THANK YOU;)
What’s your happy/calm place that can bring you back from crashing:
Lucy:
A tropical beach and a pina colada.
Max:
SNACKS on SNACKS on snacks.
You guys are going on a road trip. Who is driving:
Lucy:
Me.
Max:
