Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s beloved musical Little Shop of Horrors
returns to its roots this fall in an all-new off-Broadway revival helmed by Michael Mayer and starring Jonathan Groff as Seymour, Tammy Blanchard as Audrey, and Christian Borle as Orin Scrivello. The limited revival plays the famed Westside Theatre from September 17 through November 24.Little Shop first premiered off-off-Broadway at the Workshop of the Players' Art in May 1982 before transferring to off-Broadway's Orpheum Theatre in July 1982, where it ran for five years. The musical then played London (along with its breakout star, Ellen Greene) before being adapted into a 1986 film, also starring Greene as Audrey.
