The musical tells the story songwriter/ music producer Bert Berns—the guy behind such hits as “Twist And Shout” “Hang on Sloopy” “Tell Him” and, you guessed it, “Piece of My Heart”—and tag line kind of says it all: Meet the man you never knew through the music you’ve loved for years. Playing Berns is Broadway’s Zak Resnick; and maybe we’re late to the party here, but who knew this Mamma Mia! vet was such a stud?!
Seriously, Zak is giving us major matinee idol in these photos. Then when you add in the foxy De’Adre Aziza, the super seductive Teal Wicks and the eternally lovely Ms. Leslie Kritzer, it becomes severe up in here.
