With Memorial Day Monday, we want to take a moment to honor those we have lost that have served in our United States military.
Most recently, Bandstand arrived on Broadway in 2017 and received a unique honor. The show was the first Broadway musical to be officially certified by Got Your Six. According to the foundation's Twitter, the organization "unites veteran nonprofit & entertainment industry partners to change the conversation about veterans." The show, with brilliant Tony winning choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, illustrated the effects World War II had on the veterans after returning home.
