This show was great. I can say that a LOT of money was put into this show in terms of the overall production! Every detail was thought through, the songs were very catchy and the plot was great. The music in Wicked is fantastic! Overall an amazing show!

Amazing Show!!!

Wicked was a fantastic show and i would definately recommend it to anyone. The sets and costumes were phenomenal and the music and singing were even better! If you don't know the story of the Wizard of Oz, however, you probably will not understand the show very well. If you do know the story though, you will be amazed at how clever the script is. you will never view the Wizard of Oz the same way again!

Absolutely Phenomenal!

This is one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen. I have seen several shows on Broadway and in London previously and was completely blown away. The story is fantastic and the vocals are phenomenal. It's a true sign of a great show when I am completely obsessed with the soundtrack! I can't wait to see it again!

This show is the best on broadway! I saw it a week ago and I just got tickets for it again. It's something that you would want to see over and over again. And thats what I am planning to do. The music is the best I've heard on broadway. MUST SEE!!!

I saw this show back in April 2008 and I have just one word to describe this show: AWESOME!! From the moment the curtain came up at the beginning of the show to the final curtain I was completely mesmerized as to how this show tied up loose ends from the Wizard of Oz. The sets were amazing, the score and singing was great and all the actors were great. Everyone should see this amazing show either on Broadway or on tour in a city near you.

I've seen it twice and I can't wait to see it again. Best Broadway show I've ever seen. The book is also good. The shows ending has a better ending!

Wonderful story, phenomenal show

I saw the original cast in 2004, and since then, I've seen "Wicked" two more times. It is a wonderful story, and a phenomenal show. The music is infectious, and the choreography is great. Great job Stephen Schwartz, Joe Mantello, Wayne Cilento, Susan Hilferty! This one's a hit!

A better story would make it perfect.

Fantastic cast and theatrical eye candy, but the story was weak and cheap. What do I mean by cheap? Well it is exccedingly easy to take just about any classic story line about good and evil and write a knock-off making the good characters into pompous schleps and the evil characters into mis-understood heroes. Everyone seems to be doing it and audiences numbly suck it up like a twister on trailer park. I am dying for an original story line.... read more. That being said, I enjoyed it!

Ding dong, the Witch is DULL.

My wife and I saw this show on Broadway in 2005 or 2006. We both come from a musical theater background, and we both thought it was a pitiful excuse for a show. All flash, no substance, or at least, squandered substance. The problem is entirely with the staging, which is clumsy at times, and other times totally pathetic, such as the Tin Man transformation, which consisted of someone going behind a piece of scenery for several long seconds ... read more to change costumes, rather than an awesome magical transformation. And the lion cub hand puppet was like something out of a preschooler revue, just pathetic, like they just didn't care. The only awesome moment in the show took place just before the intermission (defying gravity) but nothing in the show afterward came even close to being as cool. We saw several other shows on the same trip (Avenue Q, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Spamalot) and they were all significantly more entertaining and intelligent than this show. Last year A friend dragged me to a touring production in LA, but it was equally bad, because it was a virtual carbon copy of the original. I think this musical could be done well with the proper staging and design, but I think its a wierdly irrelevant story to make into a musical anyway. That said, the audience generally seemed to be enjoying themselves, so me and my wife are definitely in the minority. In short, I hope I never have to see this musical again! I wish I could get my money back!
